Baseball Drops Contest at UNCG

GREENSBORO — UNC Greensboro had seven-run third and fourth innings and topped Davidson 16-3 in seven innings Tuesday night.
It's the final midweek contest of the season for the Wildcats, who dropped to 23-19. UNCG improved to 17-28.
Fredy Diaz had the Wildcats' offensive highlight with a two-run single in the fifth. Davidson scored in the top of the first when Matt Manjooran reached on a fielder's choice and drove in Matthew Vannoy.
Davidson utilized six pitchers, beginning with Jacob Vokal (2.0 IP, 3 hits, 3 ER, 2 Ks).
