Before Davidson: Starred as a two-sport athlete at Raleigh’s Broughton High, where he was named the Ernest Helms Male Athlete of the Year in 2024-25 • Played four varsity baseball seasons and helped the Capitals win two conference titles • Earned four All-Conference honors, two All-Region nods and was the 2024 Cap-6 Player of the Year • Was the team MVP in 2025 and served as a team captain • Slashed .350/.442/.512 with 18 stolen bases as a senior • Set the program’s career record with 107 hits • Also totaled 89 runs and 50 steals in his prep career • Played three varsity football seasons and earned All-Conference and team offensive MVP honors in 2024.
