Torreso Hits Three Home Runs
With the result, both teams enter Sunday's series finale with 15-11 records in the Atlantic 10. Davidson fell to 24-23 overall, while the Rams improved to 22-26.
Torreso hit solo homers in the first and third innings and blasted a three-run shot in the fourth. It's the first three-homer day of the year for any Wildcat and the first of his career. He tied Jamie Daly for the team's season lead with 11 blasts.
Gavin Thomas added a home run in the ninth.
But the Rams scored 12 runs on nine hits, including two homers, in the eighth to take control.

Sunday's game begins at 1 p.m. It's also Davidson's home finale, as the Wildcats will conclude the regular season at VCU next weekend.
