WINSTON-SALEM — The Davidson baseball team wrapped up its four-game weekend with two losses Sunday at Wake Forest's David F. Couch Ballpark.
The Wildcats fell 11-1 to Loyola Marymount, then 16-6 to host Wake Forest to exit the weekend 4-7.
Game 1
LMU scored two runs apiece in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to get the 11-1 eight-inning win.
The Wildcats' lone run came in the fifth when Jamie Daly's single drove in Theo Loughlin, who had led off with a single. Daly, Loughlin and Forrest Lietz each had two hits.
Starter Jacob Vokal threw two innings, allowing four hits and four earned runs.
Game 2
Gavin Thomas and Scotty Edwards hit home runs as part of a four-run sixth inning to highlight the Wildcats' efforts in a 16-6 loss against No. 16 Wake Forest in seven.
Matt Manjooran had RBI-singles in the third and sixth innings, while Daly added an RBI-single in the fifth. Daly, Manjooran, Edwards, Aidan Rice and Matthew Vannoy finished with two hits each.
Starter Garrett Pyne threw two innings and allowed two hits and two earned runs.

The Wildcats return home to host Lehigh next weekend.
