WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Matching its best start since the 1963-64 season, Davidson has won 18 of its last 19 contests.
• Coming off a stretch of five out of seven away from home, the Wildcats enter 19-3 overall and remain atop the A-10 standings at 9-1 following a 78-73 come-from-behind win at George Washington over the weekend.
• With its win over the Colonials, Davidson also improved to 8-0 in true road games this year.
• Since joining the A-10, the 'Cats have won a regular season title (2015), tournament title (2018) and totaled 85 league wins (10.8 per year), while recording an average finish of 4.4 in the 14-team conference and making the tournament semifinals each year.
• A win would give Davidson its 17th 20-win season under head coach Bob McKillop.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
• Foster Loyer (15.8), Hyunjung Lee (15.5) and Luka Brajkovic (15.4) are each averaging over 15 points per game for the Wildcats.
• Fellow starter Michael Jones is also averaging double figures at 12.3 per outing.
• Loyer enters seventh nationally in 3-point field-goal percentage, shooting 45.9 percent (56-122).
• In addition, he's third in free-throw percentage (.940 | 78-83).
• Brajkovic, a preseason all-conference selection, is averaging 20.8 points and 7.8 rebounds, while shooting 68.5 percent (61-89) overall and 66.7 percent (12-18) from 3-point range the last eight games.
• Davidson's starting lineup is shooting 50.8 percent (502-987) from the floor and 42.9 percent (184-428) from 3-point range.
• The Wildcats rank among the nation's best in field-goal percentage (.495/5th), 3-point field-goal percentage (.407/4th),  free-throw percentage (.770/20th) and assist/turnover ratio (1.45/19th).
• Davidson is 17-0 on the season when hitting the 70-point plateau.

INSIDE THE STREAK
• Prior to its first conference setback (VCU - 1/26/22) of the 2021-22 campaign, Davidson strung together 15 straight wins, which at the time was tied with Auburn for the longest in the nation.
• The streak started on day two (Nov. 19) of the Myrtle Beach Invitational with a 72-60 win over Penn.
• The win streak was its longest since the 2012-13 season.
• It also was the seventh time (5th under McKillop) in school history the 'Cats had put together a 15-game win streak.
• The longest streak in program history came in 2007-08 when Davidson reeled off 25 straight en route to an appearance in the Elite 8.

LAST TIME OUT
• Luka Brajkovic scored a career-high 30 points on 11-of-14 shooting and Davidson erased an 11-point second-half deficit to rally past George Washington, 78-73, inside the Charles E. Smith Center Saturday afternoon.
• Foster Loyer and Sam Mennenga also scored in double figures for Davidson with 16 and 11 points, respectively.
• Trailing 47-36 early in the second half, the Wildcats' offense came to life as they opened the final frame 9-of-11 from the floor, while using a 25-5 streak to go in front, 61-52 with 11:14 to play.
• Highlighting Davidson's game-changing run was 10 straight points from Brajkovic, including consecutive triples to give his club their first lead since the opening minutes.
• The Colonials, who drilled 13 3-pointers on the afternoon, fought back and evened the score on several occasions, but were unable to contain Brajkovic, whose 3-point play with 56 seconds remaining put the Wildcats up for good.
• Davidson, which entered seventh nationally in field-goal percentage, torched the nets for 66.7% percent after intermission, finished the contest at 56.3 percent.
• Behind 21 first-half points from James Bishop, the Colonials used a pair of lengthy runs in the period to carry a 42-34 lead into the break.
• Davidson scored the first seven points of the contest, but George Washington would later answer with an 18-6 spurt capped by four straight Bishop 3-pointers to go up, 24-16 at the 9:10 mark. After the 'Cats responded with a 10-2 spurt to tie the game, 26-26, the Colonials stretched the margin to their largest of the period, 40-29.
• Grant Huffman and the Wildcats' defense held Bishop to just five points in the final 20 minutes. Joe Bamisile added 19 points for George Washington.

UP NEXT
• Davidson will travel to Rhode Island for a 2 p.m. nationally-televised (
ESPNU) contest Saturday afternoon.
