'Cats Set To Face Northern Iowa And Tulane In Fort Myers Tip Off

Games Scheduled for November 23 at 11 a.m. and November 25 at 1:30 p.m.
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Davidson is set to compete in the 2026 Fort Myers Tip-Off Palms Division on Monday, November 23 and Wednesday, November 25 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.
"We are very excited for the opportunity to play in this event," said head coach Matt McKillop. This field is incredibly competitive, and we look forward to compete against Northern Iowa and Tulane. Facing an NCAA Tournament team from last season, as well as one of the top programs in the American, it will provide tremendous preparation for what should be an incredibly competitive Atlantic 10 season."
The Wildcats will play Northern Iowa at 11 a.m. ET on November 23 and collide with Tulane at 1:30 p.m. on November 25. Northern Iowa won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament last season and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Tulane went 18-15 (8-10) in the American during the 2025-26 campaign.
"Having spoken with coaches who have participated in this event in the past, we understand that everything about the Fort Myers Tip-Off is first class," added Coach McKillop. "We know this will be a great destination and a terrific event for our Davidson basketball family and fans to experience together."
