• Off to its best start since the 1963-64 season (19-3), Davidson has won 17 of its last 18 contests.
• Coming off an 81-76 victory at preseason favorite / defending champion St. Bonaventure, the Wildcats enter 18-3 overall and atop the Atlantic 10 Conference standings at 8-1.
• With its win over the Bonnies, Davidson improved to 7-0 in true road games this year.
• Since joining the A-10, the 'Cats have won a regular season title (2015), tournament title (2018) and totaled 84 league wins (10.8 per year), while recording an average finish of 4.4 in the 14-team conference and making the tournament semifinals each year.
• The last time Davidson and George Washington met on the hardwood, the contest required four overtimes to decide with the Colonials winning 107-104 on Jan. 29, 2020.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
• Hyunjung Lee, a preseason all-conference selection, leads Davidson in scoring at 16.0 points per outing.
• Fellow starters Foster Loyer (15.8), Luka Brajkovic (14.7) and Michael Jones (12.7) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.
• Loyer enters eighth nationally in 3-point field-goal percentage, shooting 45.6 percent (53-116).
• In addition, he has made a school-record 45 straight free throws and leads the nation in free-throw percentage (.945 | 77-81).
• Brajkovic, a two-time A-10 Player of the Week selection, is averaging 19.4 points and 7.7 rebounds, while shooting 66.7 percent (50-75) overall and 66.7 percent (10-15) from 3-point range the last six games.
• Davidson's starting lineup is shooting 50.6 percent (479-945) from the floor and 43.3 percent (177-408) from 3-point range.
• The Wildcats rank among the nation's best in field-goal percentage (.492/7th), 3-point field-goal percentage (.409/5th), free-throw percentage (.775/14th) and assist/turnover ratio (1.45/16th).
• Davidson is 16-0 on the season when hitting the 70-point plateau.

INSIDE THE STREAK
• Prior to its first conference setback (VCU - 1/26/22) of the 2021-22 campaign, Davidson strung together 15 straight wins, which at the time was tied with Auburn for the longest in the nation.
• The streak started on day two (Nov. 19) of the Myrtle Beach Invitational with a 72-60 win over Penn.
• The win streak was its longest since the 2012-13 season.
• It also was the seventh time (5th under McKillop) in school history the Wildcats had put together a 15-game win streak.
• The longest streak in program history came in 2007-08 when Davidson reeled off 25 straight en route to an appearance in the Elite 8.

LAST TIME OUT
• In addition to four players in double figures, Davidson used a 22-4 run midway through the contest to grab control and get by St. Bonaventure, 81-76, Tuesday inside the Reilly Center.
• Davidson, which shot 60 percent after the intermission, was led by Foster Loyer's 21 points to go along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Loyer also finished 8-of-8 at the charity stripe, setting a new school record (Stephen Curry – 41) for consecutive makes with 45 straight.
• Backcourt mates Hyunjung Lee (18) and Michael Jones (17) also scored in double figures for the 'Cats, while Luka Brajkovic added 13 points, 8 boards and 4 assists.
• After closing the first half on a small spurt, Davidson carried the momentum into the second, opening on a 13-2 run to take its largest lead of the game, 47-31, on a Lee triple. The Bonnies chipped away, getting to within three late, but Loyer hit a pair of free throws with nine ticks left to secure the win.
• The Wildcats, who entered fifth nationally in 3-point field goal percentage, finished the night 12-of-28 from long range for a .429 clip. Davidson also handed out 18 assists on 24 made field goals.
• The first 20 minutes featured seven ties and seven lead changes before Davidson closed the period on a 9-2 run highlighted by three straight treys, including two from Jones, to take a 34-29 advantage into the half.
• Jalen Adaway led the way for St. Bonaventure with 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

UP NEXT
• Davidson returns home to Belk Arena Wednesday, Feb. 9 for a 7 p.m. contest with Saint Joseph's.

GET BETTER EVERY DAY
• One of the Wildcats' philosophies is to get better every day, and Davidson has seen the fruits of that labor at the end of the year.
• Since 2003-04, the Wildcats own a 106-31 record in the month of February.
