THE SERIES   
• This is just the 13th meeting between the regional foes and High Point leads 9-3 in the all-time series that dates back to 1964. The two teams last met on March 27, 2002 when the Wildcats fell 11-1. Davidson is 1-4 at Williard Stadium.     
 
THE 'CATS
• The Wildcats enter Tuesday 12-6 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10. Hosting La Salle this past weekend, Davidson clinched its first-ever A-10 series in program history.
• Tuesday marks just the fourth away game for the Wildcats, who are 1-2 on the road this season. All four road trips have been to in-state foes.
• Three Wildcats have a team-high .333 batting average, including outfielder Lee Miller with nine runs, 24 hits and 20 RBI in 72 at bats to lead the team.  
• On the mound, RHP Clark Beeker leads Davidson with a 3.82 ERA, allowing 48 hits, 31 runs and 38 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched.
 
THE PANTHERS
• The Panthers enter Tuesday 10-11 overall and have won five of their last six contests, including winning the series against No.  27 Campbell this past weekend.
• High Point clinched the weekend series with a 10-2 victory on Saturday. The Panthers outscored Campbell 19-4 in the first two contests.  
• Campbell eliminated High Point in the 2014 Big South Semifinals. The Panthers finished last season with a 33-22 record and were picked to finish second in the conference this year.  
• Infielder Carson Jackson leads the Panthers with a .382 batting average, 12 runs, 26 hits and 14 RBI in 68 at bats, while RHP John McGillicuddy has pitched 34.1 innings and has a 3.41 ERA. McGillicuddy threw seven innings for the win Friday against Campbell.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• On Sunday, catcher Tyler Agard's single to left field lifted the Wildcats to a 2-1 victory in the ninth inning over the La Salle Explorers that clinched the first-ever A-10 series for Davidson.
• Agard went 2-for-2 on the day with two singles and two RBI to lead the squad. The sophomore also scored the winning run on Friday in a 10-inning victory for the 'Cats for their first-ever Atlantic 10 victory.
• La Salle scored its one run off eights hits and one error, while Davidson picked up two runs off three hits and zero errors.
• On the mound, RHP Ryan Lowe started the day off for Davidson, allowing the lone Explorer run off five hits and picking up three strikeouts in six innings. RHP Matt Saeta pitched the final 1.1 innings, facing five batters and recording a strikeout for the win as he moved to 4-0 on the season.
