• The series began with a 25-17 Elon victory Jan. 18, 1916.
• The 'Cats are 12-6 on the road, including 5-2 in Alumni Gym. Davidson is 16-3 against Elon during Bob McKillop's tenure.
• Chris Long scored 15 points and netted four free throws in the last minute to lead Elon to a 66-59 win over Davidson in the last meeting.

• Adam Constantine recorded a game-high 16 points for Elon, and Drew Spradlin had 13 points and five rebounds. Terrance Birdette scored 11.
• The Wildcats trailed 60-58 late in the game when Steve Rossiter was fouled going to the basket. The senior hit the first free throw, and Davidson got the offensive board off a miss on the second.
• The Wildcats got two great looks thanks to another offensive rebound, but could not cash in on the chance to take the lead. Rossiter was whistled for a foul as Long drove to the hoop at the other end, and the sophomore buried both foul shots to give the Phoenix a 62-59 cushion with 43 seconds left.
• Archambault had a decent look at a 3-point try on the 'Cats' next possession, but it came off the rim and into the hands of Birdette, who was fouled. He made both shots from the stripe with 24 seconds left, and Long added two more with six seconds left to seal the victory.
• McKillop hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 1.9 seconds left to tie the score, and Rossiter topped that by stealing the inbounds pass and heaving in a triple from the wing as the buzzer sounded to lift Davidson to a 99-96 double overtime win in the last meeting at Alumni Gym.
• McKillop finished with a career-high 24 points, and Cohen added a career-high 24. JP Kuhlman scored the last eight points in regulation for Davidson to send it into overtime and matched his career best with 24.
• The Wildcats trailed by three in the second extra session after Chris Long hit a pair of free throws with 14.4 seconds left. Davidson set up a 3-pointer for Kuhlman, who missed, but Nik Cochran tracked down the rebound. The 'Cats found McKillop deep on the wing, and the junior drained it with 1.9 seconds left.
• Rossiter then made a heady play and stole the inbounds pass at the foul line extended on the left side of the court. The senior hit 3-pointer as he was falling out of bounds that beat the buzzer for the win.
• Drew led the Phoenix with 25 points to go along with eight rebounds, and Long finished with 16 points, nine assists and six boards. Constantine recorded 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Devan Carter scored 12.
