'Cats Host Dayton in Third A-10 Weekend Series

In a stretch that includes playing nine of 12 games on the road, the Davidson baseball team is home this weekend when it hosts Atlantic 10 foe Dayton in a three-game series at Wilson Field.
It's the third of 10 league weekends and will begin with a 5 p.m. first pitch on Friday.
LATEST ON THE 'CATS
• Davidson is 10-12 overall and 2-4 in the A-10.
• The Wildcats are coming off an 11-1 non-conference loss at Winthrop on Tuesday.
• In the A-10, the Wildcats have gone 1-2 against Fordham (home) and La Salle (away), winning the series opener each time.
• Three La Salle pitchers combined to no-hit the Wildcats in a 10-1 contest last Sunday.
