Baseball Opens A-10 Play Friday Against Fordham

Atlantic 10 Conference play begins Friday when the Davidson baseball team opens a three-game home series against Fordham.
First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Wilson Field.
It's the beginning of the 10-series A-10 schedule, in which the Wildcats will also host Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Richmond and Rhode Island. They are scheduled to visit league foes La Salle, George Mason, Saint Louis, George Washington and VCU.
LATEST ON THE 'CATS
• Davidson is 8-7 following Tuesday's 11-10 win over Gardner-Webb, the Wildcats' fourth straight victory.
• Davidson earned a three-game sweep of Lehigh last weekend to begin this seven-game homestand.
