Wildcats Host High Point Tuesday

In a stretch of playing eight straight at home, the Davidson baseball team will host High Point Tuesday night.

First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. at Wilson Field.

It's the Wildcats' first midweek home game of the season.

• The Wildcats are 11-12 after a weekend sweep of Siena.
• Davidson has won its last four games, and the weekend series win was its second of the season (Villanova).
• Corner infielders Eli Putnam and Michael O'Shaughnessy continue to set the standard offensively and are tied for the team lead with five home runs.
• Putnam leads the Wildcats in average (.361), slugging percentage (.639), OPS (1.110), hits (30), doubles (8) and total bases (53) and is second with 25 RBIs.
