Wildcats Visit Queens Tuesday Night

The Davidson baseball team will travel to Charlotte Tuesday night to face Queens at 6 p.m.
The Royals host their home games off campus at the Stick Williams Dream Fields, located here.
Davidson enters 24-17 overall.
LATEST ON THE 'CATS
• Davidson is coming off a weekend series split with Atlantic 10 Conference foe George Washington.
• On Saturday, the Wildcats won 7-3 and lost 2-1, with Sunday's finale canceled by inclement weather.
• Davidson enters this week 10-4 in A-10 play, in first and a half-game ahead of Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis.
• Davidson leads the A-10 with 219 walks, 67 home runs, a .410 on-base percentage and a .494 slugging percentage.
• Junior outfielder Ryan Wilson is the A-10 leader in average (.396), home runs (16), on-base percentage (.526), slugging percentage (.805), OPS (1.331) and total bases (120).

• Davidson and Queens met for the first time on Feb. 28, with the Wildcats earning a 16-6 victory at Wilson Field.

SCOUTING THE ROYALS
• Queens is 11-31 in its first Division I season, but the Royals have been hot of late, winning four straight and five of their last six.
• The Royals earned an Atlantic Sun Conference sweep over the weekend, winning three games at North Florida.
• Riley Cheek is the Royals' top offensive threat. He's hitting .354 with a 1.088 OPS, 16 doubles, nine home runs, 32 RBIs and nine stolen bases.
