'Cats Score Season-High 23 Runs in Saturday's Win

It's the seventh straight win for the Wildcats, who improved to 15-10 overall and 2-0 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Davidson has also won nine of its previous 10.
The 13-run fourth included six Wildcat hits, three walks, four hit batsmen and a sacrifice fly. Jacob Hinderleider's two-RBI single started the scoring, made it 5-4 and gave the Wildcats the lead for good. Jake Wilhoit and Henry Koehler also had RBI-singles in the fourth, while Ryan Wilson cleared the bases with a three-run double. Michael O'Shaughnessy wrapped up the inning with a three-run home run to center as the Wildcats emerged with a 16-4 lead.
O'Shaughnessy's blast was one of five the Wildcats hit Saturday. Third baseman Nick Calero led off the bottom of the first with his second bomb of the year. In the fifth, Wilhoit hit a three-run shot, his first of the year, to finish with a team-best five RBIs. Wilson, who entered the weekend as the A-10's home run leader, hit his 12th in the fifth, and Hinderleider's two-run blast (his fifth) in the seventh completed the scoring.
Hinderleider and Wilson drove in four runs each, while Koehler was 4-for-5.
Ryan Feczko earned the win, throwing five innings and allowing four earned runs and seven hits and striking out four. Miles Jamieson (2 IP) and Ed Hall (2 IP) guided the Wildcats from there.
