'Cats Return Home For Weekend Series vs. Lafayette

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson baseball team returns home to host Lafayette College for a weekend series starting Friday night at 6 p.m. This is the third of three-straight weekend series the Wildcats host at Wilson Field.
**Saturday's game will not be streamed due to a scheduling conflict.
The Wildcats (4-4) hold a 4-2 record at Wilson Field this season, after going 2-1 against Georgetown a week ago. Davidson is coming off a loss at Duke on Tuesday. Jake Sidwell leads the squad with 10 hits, including two doubles, and four RBI for a .400 batting average. On the mound, O'Linger leads the team with a 1.74 ERA, allowing two runs of five hits with six strikeouts in 10.1 innnings.
Lafayette (1-4) started the season with a three-game losing streak, falling to VMI in the opening weekend. The Leopards picked up their first win against Rider, 6-3, Tuesday at Diamond Nation. Steven Cohen leads the team with a .368 batting average with seven hits and nine RBI in 19 at bats.
