• Davidson is 2-0 and coming off a 74-61 home win over Richmond Monday night. The Wildcats have won 12 of their last 15 games, dating back to last season.
• It's the first road game of the season for Davidson.
• Davidson returns seven of its top eight scorers and four starters from last season. Players who accounted for 81 percent of the team's scoring and 87 percent of the team's rebounding are back in uniform this year.
• JP Kuhlman and Jake Cohen were selected preseason All-SoCon by the league's coaches. Both players have been starters for the bulk of their careers.
• Kuhlman is 160 points away from 1,000 for his career, and Cohen is 159 points shy.
• The 'Cats, who have posted nine straight winning seasons, were picked to win the SoCon South Division in the league's Coaches and Media Polls.
• Davidson is 13-78 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP Poll) and has lost its last seven. The Wildcats are 8-53 versus teams in the top-10.
• Duke has opened the season 3-0 and is coming off a 74-69 win over Michigan State in Madison Square Garden Tuesday night.
• It was the 903rd career victory for head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who moved past Bob Knight into first on the NCAA career coaching win chart.
• The Blue Devils return eight lettermen and three starters from last year's 32-5 team, including Seth Curry, the younger brother of Davidson great Stephen Curry, who played for the Wildcats from 2006-09.
• Duke was picked second behind North Carolina in the Preseason ACC Poll.

Series History
• Duke leads the all-time series, which began in 1909, 87-17, and has won 22 consecutive games against the Wildcats.
• Davidson's last victory against Duke game Dec. 29, 1981, when the Wildcats topped the Blue Devils 75-73 at the Iron Duke Classic in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
• That is Davidson's only victory in Cameron, where the 'Cats are 1-31.
• Last Meeting - Jan. 7, 2009:
Stephen Curry scored a game-high 29 points, but the Wildcats were unable to take down No. 2 Duke, falling 79-67 in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
• After trailing by as many as 26 in the second half, Davidson scored on eight consecutive possessions over a five-minute span to bring the Wildcats within eight.
• The run was fueled by Curry's 10-point burst, including a fast-break dunk, which was followed by a step-back 3-pointer.
• Davidson then went looking for a defensive stop, but a pair of offensive rebounds led to Duke's Lance Thomas hitting two free throws to bring the lead back to 10 with 2:41 remaining. The Wildcats could get no closer, and a 3-pointer by Jon Scheyer from the top of the key pushed the margin to 14 with 52 seconds left.
• Steve Rossiter notched 10 rebounds on the night for Davidson, the lone double-digit rebounder in the game. Andrew Lovedale contributed 15 points, seven boards, and a career-high four blocks, all which came in the second half.
• Kyle Singler and Scheyer scored 22 points each to lead Duke. Gerald Henderson added 11 points and seven rebounds.

• Cohen surpassed the 20-point plateau for the seventh time in his career.
• Davidson has won 28 of its last 30 non-conference games in Belk Arena.
