Layup Line
• The Wildcats host College of Charleston in a Southern Conference matchup Saturday afternoon in Belk Arena.
• The game will be televised live on SportsSouth with Tom Werme calling the action and Daymeon Fishback providing color analysis.
• It's Hall of Fame Day, and Davidson will honor four new inductees into its Athletics Hall of Fame at halftime. John Falconi '74 (men's basketball), Kerry Keith '69 (wrestling, football), Allison Noznesky Clark '98 (women's soccer) and Jen O'Brien '00 (women's basketball) are the new inductees.
• It's also Kicks from 'Cats Day. This year's event features a WhiteOut promotion, a shoe drive and a silent auction, and proceeds will benefit Access to Success (A2S), the foundation recently incorporated by former men's basketball player Andrew Lovedale '09, and long-time partner Samaritan's Feet. With a partnership rooted in the inaugural Kicks from 'Cats, which raised over 10,500 pairs of shoes and $15,000 in 2009, the two organizations are planning a return trip to Benin City, Nigeria this summer.
• In addition, coaches from both teams will be wearing sneakers in support of Coaches vs. Cancer and to raise cancer awareness and remind fans that by making healthy lifestyle choices, such as regular exercise and a healthy diet, they can reduce their own cancer risk.
• Davidson is coming off an 85-75 home loss to The Citadel Wednesday, and the Wildcats are 1-7 in their last eight.
• The 'Cats are 4-3 at home this season, but 1-3 in home SoCon contests.
• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is nine wins shy of his 400th career victory. He is slated to coach his 1,000th game at Wofford Feb. 9 (344 as a high school coach).
• Davidson is in fifth place in the South while Charleston is in first. The Cougars topped the Wildcats 82-73 in the first meeting this season, back on Dec. 2.
• CofC has won six of its last seven and posted a 65-61 victory at Georgia Southern Wednesday.
• The Cougars are 7-4 on the road and 3-1 in conference road contests.
• SoCon Player of the Year candidate Andrew Goudelock leads CofC in scoring with 23.6 points a game. He also leads the team with 94 assists and is shooting 42 percent from 3-point land.
• Jeremy Simmons averages 13.7 points and 6.4 rebounds, and Donavan Monroe averages 11.3 points.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which dates back to the 1926-27 season, 48-13, but the Cougars have won four of the last five, including an 82-73 decision in the season's first meeting, in Charleston Dec. 2.
• The Wildcats are 25-3 against the Cougars at home, 7-3 in Belk Arena and 16-7 under Bob McKillop.

Jake Cohen led the Wildcats with 23 points and 10 rebounds. The sophomore was 8-of-14 from the field, 2-for-4 from 3-point range and made all five of his free-throw attempts.
JP Kuhlman added 16 points, and Tom Droney netted 10. Clint Mann recorded eight points and six rebounds.
• Goudelock was 13-for-19 from the field, 3-for-5 from long distance and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe for the Cougars. Trent Wiedeman posted 10 points and eight rebounds, and Antwaine Wiggins tallied nine points and seven boards.
• The game was tied 67-67 under the six-minute mark, but Davidson hit a scoring rut and connected on just one field goal for the remainder of the contest.
Will Archambault's 24 points led four Davidson scorers in double-figures as the 'Cats used a late run to take a 86-71 win over CofC in the last meeting in Belk Arena.
• Archambault scored a season-high 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 3-point attempts and 4-of-5 free throw attempts, while adding five rebounds, three assists and a block.
• Kuhlman scored 19 points by going 8-for-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the arc, while adding three rebounds and three assists.
Steve Rossiter recorded his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 boards to go along with three assists and two blocks.
• Cohen tallied 15 points and five rebounds.
• After seeing the lead change seven times in the second half, Davidson held just a slim 68-67 cushion with 7:32 to go. The 'Cats took control from there though, outscoring the Cougars 18-4 throughout the remainder of the game to secure the win.

• Davidson began the season by playing 10 of its first 13 games on the road. The 'Cats home opener was the sixth game of the year, the latest during the 22-year tenure of head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won its home opener for the 19th consecutive season.
• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.
• The Wildcats' 80-52 loss at No. 24 Vanderbilt Jan. 2, was their worst loss since a 75-47 setback at then eighth-ranked Duke in 2006.
