• The Wildcats continue a stretch where they play five games in 11 days with a home contest against Furman Saturday at 2 p.m. in Belk Arena.
• Davidson is coming off a 73-51 home loss to Wofford Wednesday, while Furman suffered a 79-77 setback at Georgia Southern.
• Davidson is in fourth place in the South Division and tied with The Citadel in the loss column with six, but the Wildcats own the tiebreaker against the Bulldogs by virtue of having won both regular-season games.
• The top two teams in the division get byes into the quarterfinals of the upcoming SoCon Tournament in Charlotte.
• Though Davidson could finish in a tie for second place with Wofford and The Citadel, the Terriers own all tiebreaker scenarios, meaning the best seed the 'Cats can get is third in the South. Davidson will have to play a first round game in the tourney for the first time since 2001.
• The Wildcats played the first contest of each of their two-game series against SoCon South Division opponents on the road and went 3-2. The 'Cats are now 6-3 against South Division foes.
• Davidson has won five of its last seven games overall.
• The Wildcats are 8-4 in Belk Arena this season with a 4-3 mark in league games there.
• The Paladins are 3-4 in their last seven overall.
• Furman owns a 4-8 record on the road this season, including a 3-5 mark in SoCon games.
• Amu Saaka leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 16.4 points and 7.2 rebounds a game. Jordan Miller is averaging 14.4 points. Both players are ranked in the top-10 in scoring in the SoCon as Saaka is fifth and Miller is seventh.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began 100 years ago, 92-60, and has won the last nine against the Paladins.
• The Wildcats are 45-27 against Furman at home, 14-1 in Belk Arena and 28-5 under head coach Bob McKillop.
Will Archambault secured an offensive rebound in the final second to stop a late Furman rally, as Davidson took an 86-81 victory over the Paladins in the season's first meeting.
• The Wildcats held a 14-point margin with 1:50 remaining but Furman outscored Davidson 19-8 to make it just 84-81 with nine seconds remaining. Bryant Barr was fouled on the inbounds play after Darryl Evans made it a one-possession game with nine seconds remaining, but Barr missed both free throws. Fellow senior Archambault was there though to haul in the rebound off the second miss, was fouled, and then hit both free throws to ice the win.
• Archambault led four Davidson scorers in double-figures with 15 points, while also adding five rebounds and four assists. JP Kuhlman added 14 points, a team-leading six assists and three rebounds. Steve Rossiter scored a season-high 13 points, and added six rebounds, an assist and a block.
• Amu Saaka led Furman with 34 points and nine rebounds, while adding two assists and a steal. Saaka started the Paladin rally by sinking a pair of free throws and then hitting three-consecutive 3-pointers.
Jake Cohen hauled in a team-leading seven rebounds to go along with 11 points, two assists and a steal.

Leftovers from Wofford
• Cohen's 10 free throws were a career high.
Will Archambault and Bryant Barr equaled Andrew Lovedale's record of 130 career games played.

• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is 20 wins shy of his 400th career victory.
• The Wildcats have hit a triple in 501 straight games.
Brendan McKillop (105) and JP?Kuhlman (83) each have a chance to record 100-plus assists this season. That's happened just twice during the Bob McKillop era. Jason Richards (293) and Stephen Curry (104) did it in 2007-08 and Jason Zimmerman (135) and Chris Alpert (134) did it in 1992-93.
• Davidson has hit 13 or more 3-pointers in five games this season (Fredonia State, The Citadel, Gonzaga, TCNJ, Penn).
• Davidson lost 91-88 to Cornell in overtime at the Holiday Festival in Madison Square Garden Dec. 20. It was the 'Cats' first overtime game since an 85-81 double-overtime loss at Charlotte Nov. 30, 2005.
• The 'Cats played their first overtime game in Belk Arena since 2005 against The Citadel Jan. 30, and posted a 67-63 win.
• Davidson's 61-52 victory over Hofstra Dec. 21, was the first time Wildcat coach Bob McKillop has coached against his alma mater.
• The Wildcats played their first four games away from home. It's the first time they have started a season with four road games since 2000-01.
• It's the latest Davidson has opened its home schedule since the 2002-03 campaign, when the 'Cats' first home game was Nov. 30 against Washington & Lee.
• Appalachian State's win Feb. 11 gives them a regular-season series sweep over the Wildcats. It's the first time Davidson has been swept in a regular-season series by a SoCon opponent since 2000-01. Wofford has also won both games of the season series against the Wildcats.
