Layup Line
• The Wildcats open a three-game homestand with a 7 p.m. contest against South Division leader College of Charleston Thursday.
• It's the fourth annual BlackOut Belk Arena.
• The concept behind BlackOut Belk is to flood Belk Arena with black T-shirts, showing a unified home crowd and also Davidson's commitment to the community as proceeds from the event are donated to a local charity each year.
• This year's charity is Circle de Luz, an organization that empowers Latino girls and young women through mentoring, programming and scholarship funds to further their education. Circle de Luz was founded by Davidson College alum and former Director of Community Service Rosie Molinary.
• The Wildcats played the first contest of each of their two-game series against SoCon South Division opponents on the road and went 3-2.
• Davidson will play six of their final 10 regular-season games at home. All remaining games are SoCon contests.
• The 'Cats have won seven of their last 11 and are coming off a 91-87 road victory over Georgia Southern Saturday.
• College of Charleston had a seven-game win streak snapped with a 100-90 loss at North Division leader Western Carolina Monday.
• The Cougars own a 4-6 road record and a 5-7 mark in games away from home.
• Reigning SoCon Player of the Week Andrew Goudelock leads C of C in scoring and ranks second in the league, averaging 19.3 points a game.
• Donavan Monroe is averaging 12.9 points and 3.9 boards a contest.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which dates back to the 1926-27 season, 47-12, but the Cougars have won the last three, including a 67-55 decision Dec. 5.
• The Wildcats are 24-3 against the Cougars at home, 6-3 in Belk Arena and 15-6 under Bob McKillop.
• The Cougars defeated the 'Cats 77-75 in Davidson Feb. 7, 2009, to end the Wildcats' 43-game SoCon win streak.
• College of Charleston's Jeremy Simmons recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots to lead the Cougars to a 67-55 victory in the season's first meeting.
Will Archambault scored all 10 of his points in the second half to lead the Wildcats, and Jake Cohen tallied eight points and eight rebounds. Bryant Barr added eight points and six boards off the bench.
• C of C's defense was stifling, allowing the Wildcats to shoot just 28 percent from the field, including 4-of-24 from 3-point range. The Cougars used their defense to spark their offense, netting 14 points off turnovers and 14 fast-break points.
• Davidson's 24 offensive rebounds and 55-36 edge on the glass overall were the bright spots as the 'Cats tallied 16 second-chance points.
• After trailing 31-20 at the break, Davidson pulled to within seven points on a JP Kuhlman jumper, but a turnover and a long rebound off a missed jumper led to consecutive Simmons' fast-break dunks.
• The 'Cats trimmed the margin to seven again, but this time the Cougars responded with a 15-2 run to open a 52-32 cushion with 8:29 to play.

Leftovers from Georgia Southern
• Rossiter became the 30th player in school history to record over 500 career points and rebounds.
• Kuhlman has scored in double figures in each of the last six games.
• Archambault's double-double was the first of his career.
• It was the second game this season Davidson has placed six scorers in double figures.
• The 'Cats shot 76.2 percent from the field in the second half; it was the first time Davidson shot 70 percent or better since shooting 72.7 percent in the second half at Georgia Southern March 1, 2008.

Claw Marks
Bryant Barr needs 21 points to reach 700 for his career.

• The Wildcats have hit a triple in 495 straight games, five away from 500.
• Davidson has hit 13 or more 3-pointers in five games this season (Fredonia State, The Citadel, Gonzaga, TCNJ, Penn).

• Davidson's 61-52 victory over Hofstra Dec. 21, was the first time Wildcat coach Bob McKillop has coached against his alma mater.

• He needs 45 points to reach the mark.
• Archambault also needs 101 rebounds for 500 career caroms.

Tough Non-Conference Slate
• Davidson finished non-conference play with a 5-7 record.
• According to the 2010 Pomeroy College Basketball Rankings, Davidson has played the 56th-toughest non-conference schedule in the country.

A Strong Bench
