A four-year starter for the Fighting Illini and a three-time Big Ten All-Academic Team selection, Davis joins the Wildcats after serving in a variety of roles across intercollegiate athletics and professional sports, ranging from media relations to strength and conditioning and coaching. Most recently, Davis was an assistant at Stanford University where she focused on serving coordination and first contact position training with the Cardinal.
In the last year Davis has also spent time with the Dallas Arsenal Volleyball Club as the Director of Recruitment, Athlete Empowerment and Sport Performance, helping high school athletes navigate the college recruiting process.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Davidson volleyball program," Davis said. "The mission of Davidson Athletics is a mission I fully align with and believe to be transformational in the college athletics space. I am very excited to continue learning and growing under Coach Willis’ leadership. His invaluable experience, knowledge and character creates an environment I am blessed to become a part of. It is an indescribable feeling becoming a member of this special Wildcat family.”
Davis, a 2016 graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, also earned a Masters of Sport Administration and Business Administration in 2019 from Ohio University.
