With the loss, Davidson fell to 4-3.
Daly hit a solo home run to left in the seventh inning, cutting the Terriers' lead to 8-7. It came one inning after the Fredy Diaz cleared the bases with a double.
Davidson led 3-0 after the top of the first, which featured Anthony Torreso's two-RBI double and a Matt Manjooran RBI-single. Daly, Manjooran and Brendan Fritch had two hits apiece.
Starter Jacob Vokal threw two innings, allowing two hits and three earned runs. Will Marenghi was the most effective reliever, allowing one hit in 2.2 innings.
