SERIES HISTORY
This is the 22nd meeting between the programs. The Wildcats lead the series 11-10. The Wildcats have lost three of the last four meetings. Davidson's last win was on March 4, 2023. The Rams beat the Wildcats in the last matchup, 92-90, on January 18, 2025. Both teams shot above 50 percent from the floor. Davidson beat top-seeded Rhode Island, 58-57, in the 2018 Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship game on March 11. Kellan Grady and Peyton Aldridge combined for 30 points. This was the program's first A-10 Tournament Title.

Davidson rolled past Loyola Chicago, 79-64, on Wednesday night inside Gentile Arena. The Wildcats did not trail the entire game. Parker Friedrichsen led the 'Cats with 27 points. Roberts Blums and Nick Coval were the other two in double figures with 15 and 11 points respectively. The 'Cats recorded a season-high 22 assists. Sam Brown recorded a season-high seven assists. This is the most assists in a game by a Davidson scholar-athlete this season. Josh Scovens added a season-high six assists.
Davidson made a season-high 14 three pointers at a 43.8 percent clip. The 'Cats are 6-2 this season when making 10 or more triples in a game.
FRIEDRICHSEN FIREWORKS
Parker Friedrichsen scored a career-high 27 points last time out at Loyola Chicago. The junior made a career-high six triples on just eight attempts. Friedrichsen becomes the third Wildcat this season to score more than 20 points in a game. This also the most points in a game by an individual on Davidson this season.
Through the first three A-10 games of the season, the Oklahoma native is averaging 18.7 points per game at a 54 percent clip from the floor. Friedrichsen is also averaging 2.7 steals per game during this span. As of January 9, he ranks sixth in the A-10 in steals per game (1.7) through all 15 contests.
BALANCE
Davidson has eight scholar-athletes who average at least 15 minutes per game this season. No one on the roster is averaging more than 25 minutes per game. The last time Davidson didn't have anyone average 30 or more minutes per game in a season was the 2001-02 squad. The 'Cats rank 13th in the nation in bench points per game this season as of January 7. Six scholar-athletes are averaging between seven and 11 points per game this season.
