LAST GAME
Davidson won its third straight A-10 road contest, 84-79, against George Washington last Wednesday. The last time the 'Cats won three consecutive conference games on the road was during the 2021-22 season. The 'Cats tied a season high in made three pointers (14-25, 56.0 %). Davidson also made 14 triples in a road game against Loyola Chicago. The Wildcats also recorded 20 assists for the second time this season
Four Wildcats scored in double figures for the fifth time this season. Davidson is 5-0 in these games. Roberts Blums dropped a career-high 21 points with six trips at a 60 percent clip. Parker Friedrichsen, Josh Scovens, and Devin Brown combined for 44 points.
PUT THE A-10 ON NOTICE
Devin Brown's season-high 17 points last week at George Washington earned him A-10 Rookie of the Week honors. Davidson's other A-10 weekly award this season came back in November (Nick Coval).
DOWNTOWN DAVIDSON
The 'Cats rank third in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage (37.6). Davidson is 7-2 this season when making at least 10 triples in a game. Hunter Adam is first in the A-10 with a 46.2 percent mark from downtown.
BLOCK PARTY
Sean Logan is averaging 2.3 blocks per game in just 10 games this season. The senior has blocked six shots in his last two games played. Logan has 110 career blocks, which currently ranks fifth in Davidson program history. Jake Cohen ('13) is at the top of that list with 197.
Manie Joses has 10 blocks this season and five of them have come over the last three contests.
FRIEDRICHSEN FIREWORKS
Parker Friedrichsen scored a career-high 27 points at Loyola Chicago on January 7. The junior made a career-high six triples on just eight attempts. Friedrichsen is one of four Wildcats this season to score more than 20 points in a game. This is also the most points in a game by an individual on Davidson this season. Through the first five A-10 games of the season, the Oklahoma native is averaging 15.6 points per game at a 48.0 percent clip from the floor and 53.1 percent from downtown. Friedrichsen is also averaging 2.2 steals per game during A-10 play. As of January 20, he ranks sixth in the A-10 in steals per game (1.6) this season.
BALANCE
Davidson has nine scholar-athletes who average at least 15 minutes per game this season. No one on the roster is averaging more than 25 minutes per game. The last time Davidson didn't have anyone average 30 or more minutes per game in a season was the 2001-02 squad.
