‘Cats Fall to Nationally-Ranked Flyers

DAYTON, Ohio – Behind six players in double figures, No. 21 Dayton defeated Davidson, 80-66, Tuesday evening inside UD Arena.
The Wildcats fall to 15-13 overall and 5-10 in Atlantic 10 play.
Dayton (22-5, 12-3), which shot 54 percent and canned 12 3-pointers, erased an early 6-0 deficit with a 28-6 run to grab control and all but put the game out of reach.
Averaging 17.7 points over his last six games, Connor Kochera continued his impressive play for the 'Cats with 18 points to go with 5 boards, 3 assists and 4 steals.
Koby Brea led the way for the Flyers with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including five triples. Daron Holmes II added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Davidson will play its next two at home beginning with a 2:30 p.m. tip against UMass Saturday afternoon.
