DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson Wildcats will welcome Fordham University to Belk Arena on Tuesday night, as the 'Cats and Rams gear up for their second meeting of the 2023-24 season.

Tip off is slated for 7 p.m. with coverage available on ESPN+, Bally Sports and the Davidson Radio Network.

WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Davidson enters Tuesday's match up at 14-11 overall and 4-8 in league play, earning three of their four Atlantic 10 victories on the road. 
• Of the Wildcats' eight conference losses, six have come within five points or less. Three have been in overtime.
• Point guard Grant Huffman leads the 'Cats in scoring (13.5 ppg) and paces the Atlantic 10 with 5.2 assists per game. His 129 total assists is good for first in the league, while the senior is averaging 15.2 points per game since the start of conference play.

ABOUT THE RAMS
• Fordham enters the game with a 10-15 overall record, 4-8 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 78-70 Atlantic 10 loss at #16/18 Dayton on Saturday afternoon.
• Senior guard Japhet Medor leads the Rams in scoring (11.6) and is second in assists (2.7/game) while sophomore guard Will Richardson is second in scoring, averaging 10.2 ppg.
• Over the past 14 games, senior guard Kyle Rose is averaging 12.0 ppg and 6.0 rpg, 14.3 ppg over the past four.
• Over the past nine games, senior guard Antrell Charlton has 28 assists and only nine turnovers.

LAST TIME OUT
• In a game that featured multiple runs, 11 ties, 16 lead changes and a last-second replay, St. Bonaventure edged Davidson in overtime, 81-80, Saturday afternoon from the Reilly Center.
• Trailing 81-78 in the closing seconds, the Wildcats' Connor Kochera connected on what appeared to be a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer, but after officials went to the monitor, it was ruled his foot was on the line.
• Kochera, who scored 16 points in the first half, led all scorers with a season-high 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting, including four treys to go along with 8 rebounds in 40 minutes of action.
• Grant Huffman stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, 6 boards and 8 assists, while Reed Bailey added 13 points and 8 rebounds of his own.

THE LAST MEETING
• Grant Huffman and Reed Bailey each netted a career-high 24 points as Davidson pulled away late to defeat Fordham, 79-69, from inside Rose Hill Gymnasium in mid January.
• The 'Cats end a three-game slide to improve to 11-6 overall and 1-3 in league action, while the Rams fall to 8-9 and 2-2.
• Coming off a 24-point performance the week prior at George Washington, Huffman finished 9-of-16 from the floor to go along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
• The senior point guard drilled his only trey of the night with 7:45 remaining to break a 50-50 deadlock and put the 'Cats in front for good.
• In addition to tying a school-record with a 12-for-12 performance from the charity stripe, Bailey grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for his first-ever double-double.

BETTER EVERY DAY
• One of the Wildcats' philosophies is to get better everyday, and Davidson has seen the fruits of that labor at the end of the year.
• Since 2003-04, the Wildcats own a 118-37 record in the month of February.
• Davidson is 54-33 in March during that time.

• In addition to scoring his 1,000th career point, Davidson's Connor Kochera finished with a game-high 19 points to lead the Wildcats past Duquesne, 72-59, on February 7 from inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
• A native of Arlington Heights, Ill., Kochera scored 564 points in two years at William & Mary, before becoming the fifth transfer and 55th player in a Davidson uniform to join the 1000-point club. 
• In conference play, the senior is averaging 11.6 points per game with six double-digit performances and a pair of 19-point efforts.
