The run, which included the Bonnies going more than six minutes without a field goal, started with a Desmond Watson drive and layup and included treys from Loyer and Mennenga, a Loyer pull-up jumper and a Mennenga layup.
- In the first 20 minutes, the Wildcats shot slightly better from 3-point range (7-of-13, 53.8 percent) than from the field (15-of-28, 53.6 percent).
- The second half was more of a grind, as the Bonnies got within 12 points three times, first at the 62-50 with 4:26 to play. But Davidson answered the call each time, including with four straight free throws from Grant Huffman and Loyer to extend the lead to 74-58 with 1:04 left.
- David Skogman came off the bench to add seven points and a team-high eight boards, while Huffman led the way with eight assists, while scoring six points and grabbing six rebounds.
- Moses Flowers and Daryl Banks III led the Bonnies with 16 and 12 points, respectively.
- Davidson will wrap up its 2022-23 home slate Wednesday, March 1 when George Washington visits Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. Senior Night contest.
