DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Nearly 59 years to the day since their first match up, the Davidson College men's basketball team will meet the Ohio Bobcats at the Legends of Basketball Showcase on Saturday, Dec. 30.The event, sponsored by the National Basketball Retired Players Association, will feature three Division I match ups from inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Tip off is slated for 1:30 p.m. with coverage available on ESPN+ and the Davidson Radio Network.

• Davidson will take on Ohio University in its final non-conference game of the season on Saturday, Dec. 30.
• The 'Cats enter Saturday's match up on a six-game win streak, including five straight in the month of December.

• Grant Huffman scored a game-high 14 points and handed out 5 assists to lead Davidson past USC Upstate, 62-59, to close out a season-long, five-game homestand.
• Huffman, who also hauled in 5 boards, was joined in double figures by Bobby Durkin (11), Connor Kochera (10) and David Skogman (10).
• Tied 48-48 with 7:35 to play, the 'Cats broke the deadlock and went back in front for good with consecutive layups from Durkin and Huffman.

• Senior captain Grant Huffman grew up in Aurora, Ohio, roughly 29 miles from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
• A 2020 graduate of St. Edward High School, Huffman helped lead his team to the state semifinals as a junior.
• A four-year member of the Wildcats, Huffman is the only member of Matt McKillop's squad to see minutes in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, while also contributing to the team's Atlantic 10 regular season title.
