Davidson at Duke Baseball Game Postponed
4/5/2022 11:44:00 AM | Baseball
Davidson's baseball game at Duke, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has been postponed because of rain in the Durham area.
A makeup date has not been announced.
The game was set to be played at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, home of the Triple-A Durham Bulls. This is the third postponement for the Wildcats this season, all of which have been scheduled for minor league parks. That also includes a March 8 meeting with Appalachian State at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis and a March 23 contest against Charlotte at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte.
The Wildcats and Blue Devils already have another game set for Tuesday, May 17 at Jack Coombs Field, the Blue Devils' on-campus facility.
The Wildcats (22-5) are coming off a weekend sweep of Richmond to start Atlantic 10 play. Next, they'll visit preseason league favorite VCU for a three-game set this weekend in Richmond.
