• Off to its best start under head coach Bob McKillop, the Wildcats have won 19 of their last 21.
• The program's best start came in 1964-65 when the 'Cats started 24-1 before falling in their final game of the year.
• McKillop has guided Davidson to 17 20-win campaigns in his 33 years.
• Since joining the A-10, the Wildcats won a regular season title (2015), tournament title (2018) and totaled 86 league wins (10.8 per year), while recording an average finish of 4.4 in the 14-team conference and making the tournament semifinals each year.
• Davidson, which played six of its last nine on the road, will conclude the regular season with four of six inside the friendly confines of Belk Arena.
• The 'Cats are 9-1 on their home floor this season and have won 52 of their last 60 on McKillop Court.
• Davidson has won 13 straight Valentine's Day games, which includes a 10-0 record under McKillop.
• The Wildcats defeated St. Bonaventure, 93-64 (2020) in their last Valentine's Day matchup improving to 17-5 all-time on the holiday.

LAST TIME OUT
• Unable to overcome an early deficit, Davidson fell at Rhode Island, 72-65 in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action Saturday afternoon inside the Ryan Center.
• Despite just its second loss in the last 21 contests, Davidson was led by Foster Loyer's 20 points, while Hyunjung Lee and Michael Jones also scored in double figures with 17 and 13, respectively.
• Rhode Island, which shot 55.6 percent, including 6-of-9 from long range in the opening 20 minutes, gained separation with a 14-0 run early in the contest. The lead grew to as many as 14 in the period before Davidson cut the deficit to 40-35 at the half.
• In addition to finishing with a 46-28 advantage on the glass, the Rams made 19-of-23 from the charity stripe.
• Jeremy Sheppard led Rhode Island with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting, which included a 6-for-6 effort at the line. Mahki Mitchell had a double-double for the Rams with 16 points and 11 boards.
• After both teams struggled from the floor early in the second half, the Wildcats got to within a bucket on several occasions, including 64-61 with 1:04 left. Sheppard converted free throws the next trip and Rhody would eventually push the margin back to seven to put the game out of reach.
• Davidson finished shooting 38.1 percent overall and made just 7-of-28 from behind the 3-point line.

UP NEXT
• Davidson will entertain Saint Louis Saturday, Feb. 19 when the Billikens visit Belk Arena for a 3:30 p.m. nationally-televised contest.

• Foster Loyer (61), Hyunjung Lee (53) and Michael Jones (51) have each hit at least 50 treys for the 'Cats through 24 games.
• The backcourt trio has accounted for 165 of the Wildcats' 211 3-pointers this season.

GET BETTER EVERY DAY
• One of the Wildcats' philosophies is to get better every day, and Davidson has seen the fruits of that labor at the end of the year.
• Since 2003-04, the Wildcats own a 108-32 record in the month of February.
• Davidson is 49-28 in March during that time.
