Black Beats Red 39-25 in Annual Scrimmage

DAVIDSON — Grant Huffman and Reed Bailey scored in double figures to lead Davidson Black to a 39-25 win over Davidson Red in the annual Red-Black Scrimmage Saturday afternoon in Belk Arena.

Huffman, a junior guard, had 11 points, while Bailey, a freshman forward, scored 10 points. Junior transfer David Skogman added six points and eight boards for Black.

For Red, junior forward Sam Mennenga scored a game-high 12 points to go with five rebounds, while freshman Achile Spadone scored seven.

Also playing on Red were Foster Loyer, Desmond Watson, Sean Logan and Chris Sosnik. Riccardo Ghedini, Connor Kochera, Michael Katsock and Brock Matheny rounded out Black.
