WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Off to its best start since the 1964-65 season, Davidson enters on a 14-game winning streak, which is tied with Auburn for the nation's longest.
• Coming off another thrilling win, this time a 63-61 victory at VCU, the Wildcats are 15-2 overall and atop the league standings at 5-0.
• Since joining the Atlantic 10, the 'Cats have won a regular season title (2015), tournament title (2018) and totaled 81 league wins (10.8 per year), while recording an average finish of 4.4 in the 14-team conference and making the tournament semifinals each year.
• Hyunjung Lee, a preseason all-conference selection, leads Davidson in scoring at 16.8 points per outing.
• Fellow starters Foster Loyer (15.9), Luka Brajkovic (13.5) and Michael Jones (13.3) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.
• Loyer enters ninth nationally in 3-point field-goal percentage, shooting 47.4 percent (47-99).
• He is also eighth nationally in free-throw percentage (.922).
• Jones, who is 17-of-25 (.680) from long range over his last five games, leads the team in 3-point field-goal percentage at 50.6 percent (42-83), but does not meet the national ranking minimums.
• Davidson's starting lineup is shooting 52.0 percent (402-773) from the floor and 45.2 percent (154-340) from 3-point range.
• The Wildcats rank among the nation's best in field-goal percentage (.501/5th), 3-point field-goal percentage (.422/2nd), 3-pointers made per game (9.9/21st), assists/turnover ratio (1.57/7th) and fewest turnovers per game (10.4/23rd).
• Davidson is 14-0 on the season when hitting the 70-point plateau.

INSIDE THE STREAK
• The streak started on day two (Nov. 19) of the Myrtle Beach Invitational with a 72-60 win over Penn.
• Davidson's current win streak is its longest since the 2012-13 season.
• It's also the eighth time (5th under McKillop) in school history the Wildcats have put together a 14-game winning streak.
• The longest streak in program history came in 2007-08 when Davidson reeled off 25 straight en route to an appearance in the Elite 8.
• During the 'Cats' current streak, they are outscoring the opposition by +13.4 points, while holding them to just .420 from the floor.
• Offensively, Davidson is shooting 50.9 percent from the floor, 42.0 percent from long range and just under 80 percent at the charity stripe.

LAST TIME OUT
• Trailing by six points late, Davidson closed on a 10-2 run, highlighted by seven of Luka Brajkovic's game-high 19 points, and extended the nation's longest winning streak with a 63-61 victory over VCU Tuesday inside the Siegel Center.
• Brajkovic, this week's A-10 Player of the Week, finished 6-of-9 from the floor, drilled both of his 3-point attempts and connected on 5-of-6 from the charity stripe to lead three 'Cats in double figures.
• Foster Loyer added 14 points and Michael Jones chipped in 13 for the Wildcats, who finished the game 50 percent from the floor, including 8-of-16 from deep.
• VCU reeled off 10 straight early in the second half to grab its first advantage since the opening minutes. The Rams, who scored 26 points off Wildcat miscues, stretched the margin to 59-53 on a Jayden Nunn jumper with 5:23 to play.
• Facing its largest deficit of the night, Davidson responded with nine unanswered of its own to go back in front for good. The Wildcats' game-winning run was sparked by a Brajkovic trey and two-handed jam off a Loyer feed in consecutive trips.
• Brajkovic added another layup with 1:26 remaining to put Davidson up 62-59.
• Vince Williams paced the Rams with 16 points, including four of their six 3-pointers.
• Despite 17 turnovers, Davidson out-rebounded VCU, 32-20.
• After Davidson led by as many as 10 in the opening half, 29-19, VCU responded with a quick 7-0 spurt to cut into the deficit. The Wildcats had an answer of their own, closing the period with another small run capped by a Loyer jumper at the buzzer to lead 36-28 at the half.

UP NEXT
• Davidson will play VCU for the second time in eight days when the Rams visit Belk Arena for an 8:30 p.m. nationally-televised tip Wednesday evening.

THREE WITH FORTY
• Davidson and Missouri State are the only Division I programs to have three players with 40 or more 3-pointers this season.
• Foster Loyer (47), Hyunjung Lee (45) and Michael Jones (42) have each hit at least 40 treys for the 'Cats through 17 games.
