WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Davidson will play four straight away from home beginning with a trip west to take on San Francisco inside the Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors and Wildcats' all-time leading scorer Stephen Curry.
• Davidson enters 1-0 following a 93-71 win over Delaware to open the 2021-22 campaign.
• With the win, the Wildcats improved to 76-33 (.697) all-time in season openers.
• Michigan State transfer Foster Loyer led the way for the 'Cats with a career-high 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting, while making all six of his attempts from 3-point range.
• Davidson is just one of eight NCAA Division I teams to enter the year with 20 consecutive winning seasons.
• The Wildcats and Dons have never met on the hardwood.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Foster Loyer scored 27 points in his Davidson debut, Sam Mennenga (13 pts, 10 rebs) recorded his first career double-double and the Wildcats rolled past Delaware 93-71 to open the season Tuesday night in Belk Arena.
• Loyer hit all six of his 3-point attempts in a career-high performance and scored 11 straight points in the decisive 30-6 first-half run that put the Wildcats in control for good.
• Delaware, the overwhelming preseason favorite to win the Colonial Athletic Association title, led 16-12 early before the 'Cats took over, scoring 18 of the game's next 20 points.
Hyunjung Lee added 15 points, five boards and five assists, while Michael Jones scored 13 points.
• Davidson shot 60.9 percent (14-of-23) from 3-point range, including 75 percent (9-of-12) in the first 20 minutes. The Wildcats finished with a 16-1 advantage in fast-break points and led 28-9 in points off turnovers.

• Davidson has an all-time record of 76-33 in season openers.
• Under head coach Bob McKillop, the Wildcats hold a mark of 18-15 in season openers.
• 10 of Davidson's season-opening losses during McKillop's tenure have come at the hand of teams from either the ACC, SEC, Atlantic 10 or Big 12, and seven have been against ranked opponents.
