DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson baseball team has postponed the first two opening days of the series versus VCU due to inclement weather. The Wildcats will try to resume play Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Check back for more updates.Â

Brian Fortier leads the 'Cats with 61 hits, including seven doubles, and 24 RBI for a .332 batting average. Davidson is batting .276 as a team. On the mound, Clark Beeker (8-3) leads the team with an impressive 2.01 ERA, allowing just 22 earned runs with 60 strikeouts in 98.2 innings pitched.Â
