            * The Davidson Student Athletic Advisory Council will provide wristbands to student-athletes and fans that attend and take the pledge. There will also be free Dominos pizza to the first 150 students who enter Wilson Field.
 
THE SERIES   
• This is the first meeting between the two teams.      
 
THE 'CATS
• The Wildcats enter the weekend 12-7 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10. This past weekend, Davidson clinched its first-ever A-10 series in program history.
• Outfielder Lee Miller leads the squad with a .329 batting average as he has collected 10 runs, 25 hits and 20 RBI in 76 at bats. Three other Wildcats are batting over .300 and all this at the top of the line up.
• On the mound, RHP Clark Beeker leads the team with a 3.82 ERA, allowing 48 hits, 31 runs and 38 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched.
 
THE BILLIKENS
• The Billikens enter this weekend 15-9 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10, and have lost their last two contests, including a 13-1 defeat to Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday.
• Saint Louis clinched its first A-10 weekend this past weekend with two-straight victories over Rhode Island, before dropping its Sunday's game 9-6 to the Rams to sit 2-1 in conference play.
• For the third-consecutive season, SLU was picked the 2015 preseason favorite as it has won the A-10 regular season title in each of the previous three seasons.   
• Outfielder Michael Bozarth leads the Billikens with a .380 batting average, 22 runs, 30 hits and 16 RBI in 79 at bats, while RHP Clay Smith – who is projected to start Friday - has pitched 42.2 innings and has a 1.69 ERA to sit 4-0 on the season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• The Wildcats had a tough mid-week road trip to High Point, falling 15-2 Tuesday night at Williard Stadium.  
• The Panthers outhit Davidson, 15-7, with the Wildcats committing two errors. Left fielder Will Robertson led the squad with two hits and two RBI, while first baseman David Daniels picked up one run and two hits in three at bats.  
• Left fielder Carson Jackson led the Panthers with a game-high three runs and two hits in four at bats.  
• The Wildcats threw seven pitchers with freshman LHP Evan Roberts making his first start of the season. Roberts went the first two innings, allowing one run off three hits to drop to 1-1 on the season.
