DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson will conclude its brief homestand Tuesday evening when the Wildcats welcome in-state foe Campbell to John M. Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. televised (TWC SportsChannel) contest.

Last Time Out
Tyler Kalinoski paced five Davidson players in double figures with 19 points, including five of his club's 15 3-pointers, as the Wildcats cruised past Catholic, 102-66, in their season opener Saturday.

Oskar Michelsen scored 18 in his collegiate debut, going 6-for-7 from long range, Jack Gibbs added 17 points and seven assists, while Nathan Ekwu and Jordan Barham came off the bench to score 10 each.

Davidson got 51 points from its reserves and held a commanding 43-28 advantage on the glass, highlighted by a game-high 11 boards from freshman Peyton Aldridge.

The Wildcats went on a 20-2 run midway through the opening period and stretched its advantage to 29 before going to the break up, 47-23. During its game-changing spurt, Davidson held Catholic without a field goal for 11 minutes and 44 seconds.

With the win, Davidson improved to 70-32 all-time in openers.

Series History
Campbell leads the all-time series, 6-3.

The two teams haven't met since the quarterfinals of the 1992 Big South Tournament, a game the Camels won 69-60. The following season, Davidson returned to the Southern Conference.

The Wildcats won three of the five meetings as conference foes, including the last two played at Belk Arena.

Scouting the Camels
Under the direction of second-year head coach Kevin McGeehan, Campbell opened its season with a 97-58 win over Barber Scotia Friday evening.

The Camels return four of the team's top-five scorers from last year's club that finished 12-20 overall and 6-10 in Big South play.

Campbell was predicted to finish eighth in the Big South preseason poll.

Reco McCarter led CU a year ago in scoring and rebounding averaging 12.7 points and 5.1 rebounds, respectively.

Local Product Signs During Early Period
KiShawn Pritchett of nearby Lake Norman High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Davidson men's basketball team in 2015-16.

A 6-6, 220 guard from Mooresville, N.C., Pritchett averaged 17.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game, while leading LNHS to a 28-2 record and berth in the N.C. 4A championship game a year ago.
