Layup Line
• The Wildcats open a two-game road swing at The Citadel Thursday.
• It's the second meeting of the season between the Bulldogs and Wildcats. The Wildcats won the first game 80-51 in Belk Arena Jan. 21.
• The 'Cats are in the midst of a stretch where they play five games in 10 days.
• Davidson has won 20 of its last 22 SoCon regular-season games, dating back to last season.
• The Wildcats are 11-1 in their last 12 contests and coming off a 76-54 victory over Wofford in Belk Arena Monday night.
• Davidson is 7-4 on the road and 5-1 in road SoCon games.
• The 'Cats, who were picked first in the South in the SoCon Preseason Coaches Poll, lead the division with a 12-1 record.
• The Citadel has lost its last eight and is coming off a 71-66 setback at Elon last Saturday.
• Four of those games were decided by seven points or less, one loss was by a point on a last-second shot and one was decided in overtime.
• The Bulldogs are 3-7 at home and 1-4 in home league games.

Series History
• The Wildcats lead the all-time series, which began in the 1925-26 season, 93-45.
• Davidson has won 18 of the last 20 overall against the Bulldogs. Both losses during that stretch came in Belk Arena.
• The 'Cats are 33-35 against the Bulldogs on the road, 32-27 in McAlister Fieldhouse and 27-9 under Bob McKillop.
• Last time: Jake Cohen reached the 20-point mark for the fifth consecutive game, and the Davidson defense held The Citadel to 17 percent shooting in the first half as the Wildcats topped the Bulldogs 80-51 Jan. 21 in John M. Belk Arena.
• Cohen finished with 20 points, four rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals for the Wildcats, and De'Mon Brooks collected 15 points and nine rebounds.
JP Kuhlman scored 11, and Nik Cochran added nine points and six rebounds.
• Mike Groselle led The Citadel with 22 points and five rebounds to go along with three steals and a blocked shot.
• Davidson shot 53 percent for the game while holding The Citadel to 35 percent, and the Wildcats gave up just two offensive rebounds in the contest. Davidson outrebounded the Bulldogs 46-22 overall.
• The Wildcats gave up one field goal in the first 14 minutes of the game, and The Citadel finished the half 4-for-24 from the field. Meanwhile, Davidson hit seven of its first nine shots en route to opening a 30-2 lead with 12:00 left in the period. The 'Cats owned a 47-16 cushion at halftime.
• Last time in McAlister: Cohen recorded 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Davidson held The Citadel to 33 percent shooting from the field in a 68-53 victory over the Bulldogs Dec. 4, 2010.
• Cohen was 5-for-8 from the floor, 9-of-10 from the free-throw line and also recorded three blocked shots. Kuhlman tallied 13 points and four assists for the 'Cats, and Tom Droney netted 10 points, his second straight game with double figures in the scoring column.
• Groselle led the Bulldogs with 13 points, and Zach Urbanus had 12 points, seven boards and five assists. Austin Dahn scored 11.
• The Wildcats held the Bulldogs to 19-of-58 from the floor in the game and 9-of-31 in the second half, and Davidson forced 18 turnovers, scoring 21 points off of the miscues. The Citadel stayed in the game by shooting 6-of-14 from 3-point range and grabbing 18 offensive rebounds.
• Davidson turned a four-point halftime lead into a 12-point advantage early in the second stanza with an 11-3 run. After Clint Mann started the spurt with a layup, Kuhlman and Cohen netted triples during the stretch.

• Ninety-eight percent of the 'Cats' scoring and 96 percent of their rebounding comes from juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
• The Wildcats rank third in the nation in team free-throw percentage (.792). Nik Cochran, Jake Cohen and JP Kuhlman all rank in the top-10 in the SoCon.
• Davidson has made 20 or more free throws in eight games this season.
• Davidson hit all of its free throws (14-for-14) against Duke Nov. 18, for the first time since 2008 (Appalachian State, 6-for-6). The 'Cats also made all seven attempts against Chattanooga Feb. 4.
• Davidson has used the same starting lineup in every game.
• The Wildcats have led at halftime in 20 games.
JP Kuhlman has been named CoSIDA?Capital One Academic-All-District and moves onto the national ballot for Academic All-America.
• Kuhlman has been named to the Cousy Award watch list. The award is given annually to the nation's best point guard.
• According to NCAA RPI, Davidson's non-conference strength of schedule ranks 19th in the country.
• By defeating Kansas 80-74 Dec. 19, the Wildcats defeated a ranked opponent for the first time since topping Wisconsin 73-56 in the 2008 NCAA Tournament.
•  It was Davidson's first win over a ranked opponent in the regular season since defeating No. 15 South Carolina Jan. 16, 1974.
•  It was the 'Cats' first win over a ranked opponent on the road since defeating No. 17 St. John's 88-84 Jan. 4, 1972.
• The 'Cats have won 30 of their last 33 against non-conference competition at Belk Arena and are 38-6 since 2003.
• Davidson has a 6-4 record in non-conference games with one non-league game left, a home tilt against Wichita State Feb. 18, in the Sears BracketBusters.
• Davidson returned seven of its top eight scorers and four starters from last season. Players who accounted for 81 percent of the team's scoring and 87 percent of the team's rebounding are back in uniform this year.
• Davidson did not give up a 3-pointer at UNCW Nov. 26 (0-for-3).
• The 'Cats' game against Georgia Southern Jan. 7, was the 300th in Belk Arena, which opened in 1989. Davidson won the contest 96-74.

Davidson Milestone Watch
• Fellow juniors Jake Cohen and JP Kuhlman have registered their 1,000th career point. Cohen's came against Western Carolina Jan. 12, and Kuhlman topped the mark at Appalachian State Jan. 14. Both players were Preseason All-SoCon selections.
Jake Cohen is 43 blocked shots away from breaking the school career record. Frank Ben-Eze needs 13 to crack the top-10.
• Cohen needs 96 rebounds to crack the top-20. The junior is one of three players in school history to record over 1,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 100 blocked shots (Jamie Hall '82, Detlef Musch '93). Davidson did not keep blocks as a stat until the 1976-77 season.
