• Davidson returns to action after the Thanksgiving break by traveling to UNC Wilmington for a 2 p.m. contest Saturday.
• It's just the second road game this season for Davidson, which is 0-1 on the road after an 82-69 loss at Duke Nov. 18.
• The Wildcats have won 13 of their last 17, dating back to last season. Davidson is coming off a 68-54 home win over Presbyterian Monday.
• Davidson returns seven of its top eight scorers and four starters from last season. Players who accounted for 81 percent of the team's scoring and 87 percent of the team's rebounding are back in uniform this year.
• JP Kuhlman and Jake Cohen were selected preseason All-SoCon by the league's coaches. Both players have been starters for the bulk of their careers.
• Kuhlman is 154 points away from 1,000 for his career, and Cohen is 140 points shy.
• The 'Cats, who have posted nine straight winning seasons, were picked to win the SoCon South Division in the league's Coaches and Media Polls.
• UNCW is searching for its first win of the season and is coming off a 69-64 home loss to Marshall Tuesday night. It was the Seahawks' home opener.
• UNCW returns eight lettermen and three starters from last season's 13-18 team.
• The Seahawks were picked 10th in the CAA Preseason Poll, and Keith Rendleman was selected second-team all-league.
• UNCW features the fifth-youngest team in the country in terms of years of experience.

• UNCW leads the all-time series 5-1 and has never lost to Davidson in Trask Coliseum.

'Cats Are Going to Disney World
• Davidson is a part of the eight-team field for the 2012 Old Spice Classic.
• The event will be held Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, Nov. 22, 23 and 25, at the HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla.
• The rest of the field consists of will Vanderbilt, Gonzaga, Clemson, Marist, Oklahoma, UTEP and West Virginia.
• The 2012 Old Spice Classic, a bracket-format tournament, will feature 12 games over the three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a championship match Sunday, Nov. 25.
• Sponsors include Old Spice, ESPNU and ESPN's Wide World of Sports. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) will serve as the event's sponsoring conference for the seventh straight year.
