Alex Northrup is the primary Athletic Trainer for the Field Hockey and Baseball teams.
He joined the Davidson athletic training staff in July 2021 after spending the last two years at The Citadel working with the baseball team as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
Prior to his time at The Citadel, he was an intern at Barton College working with volleyball, golf, and men's lacrosse teams.
He has also interned with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017.
Northrup has received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of South Carolina in 2018 and his master's degree in sport management from The Citadel in 2021.
