2020 (Shortened by COVID-19): Did not play due to injury.
2019: Started all 51 games, including 50 in left field, and hit leadoff in 22 games, the most of any Wildcat • Hit .257 with seven home runs, seven doubles, a triple, 26 RBIs and 34 runs scored • Led the team with 30 walks, drawing two in seven games, and had six multi-RBI games • Had a 12-game hitting streak from March 12 against USC Upstate to March 30 vs. VCU and had five straight two-hit games in that stretch • Also had a 19-game reached-base streak, second best on the team • Drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off RBI-single down the right field line in the 12th inning of a 6-5 win over Saint Louis (4/27) • Homered in the season opener against Towson (2/15) • Drove in three runs against Toledo (3/2) with a two-run home run and a bases loaded walk • Also drove in three runs against La Salle (3/22) • Hit a leadoff home run and had three hits against Presbyterian (April 16) • Drove in both runs against Dayton in the A-10 Tournament (5/24) with a solo home run and an RBI-single • Also homered against Rhode Island (4/14), N.C. A&T (May 1) and Wake Forest (5/7) • Went 3-for-3 against North Alabama (3/15).
2018: Played in 50 games, starting in all but four • Had a career weekend at Saint Joseph’s (4/13-4/14), launching his first and second career homers while doubling twice, driving in eight, and scoring five times • Tallied 11 multi-hit games, including three with three hits each (Lafayette-2/18, St. Joe’s- 4/13, 4/14) • Had an 11-game hit streak and reached base in 23 straight games • Drove in four with two hits vs. Mount St. Mary’s (3/18) • Doubled twice with two hits and two RBI vs. Dayton (5/19) • Scored multiple runs in six contests • Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, making 72 catches with two assists • Stole nine bases and finished season with a .272 average, scoring 25 runs with 47 hits and a .382 SLG and .360 OBP • Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team…

Before Davidson: Played four years at the Gilman School for coach Larry Sheets, earning three letters... played two summers with the Richmond Braves and spent a season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Personal: Born on December 26, 1996... Parents are Michael and Michelle Mardiney... has one sister, Laurel... father Michael played lacrosse at Hamilton College.
