WILDCAT SCRATCHES
The six seed is Davidson's best seed in the conference tournament since 2021-22 campaign (1 seed). The Wildcats were picked 11th in the 2025-26 A-10 Preseason Poll. Last season, the 'Cats were the 12 seed and lost in the second round.
Davidson had the best scoring defense across the A-10 during conference play (67.4 PPG) and the second best throughout the entire season (67.6 PPG). The 'Cats are 14-2 this season when holding an opponent to 65 points or less.
Davidson has won 19 games, which marks the most wins in a season since the 2021-22 campaign (27). It's also the most wins in a season under head coach Matt McKillop.
The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 68-63 victory over St. Bonaventure on the road. Four Wildcats scored in double figures led by Sam Brown with 15 points. Davidson is 7-0 when four or more scholar-athletes score in double figures in a game this season.
BACK iN THE STEEL CITY
The A-10 Tournament returns to Pittsburgh for the first time since 2017. Davidson - as a 9 seed - advanced to the A-10 Semifinals that season. Peyton Aldridge scored 33 points against La Salle in the first game and Jack Gibbs scored 34 points in the quarterfinals against top seed Dayton. Gibbs is currently an assistant coach on staff and is one of six Wildcats with 2,000 or more career points.
BLOCK PARTY
During A-10 regular season play, Sean Logan ranked fourth in the A-10 in blocks per game (2.2). The New Jersey native has 50 blocks this season and is eight blocks away from tying the most blocks in a season by a Wildcat in program history, a record he currently owns (58 BLK in '23-'24). The senior also currently ranks third in program history with 137 career blocks in 96 games. Jamie Hall ('82) is second with 159 blocks.
BOOST FROM BROWN
Sam Brown closed out the regular season with 35 points over the final two games (12-for-22 FG, 55 percent). Brown dropped 20 points despite the loss to Saint Joseph's and had 15 against St. Bonaventure. This came after the junior scored only four points across five games from Feb. 15 - March 1.
FROM DOWNTOWN
Parker Friedrichsen ranked sixth in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage (42.0) during the regular season. Roberts Blums ranked seventh (41.9) in 29 games off the bench.
THE SC(oven)S IS HOT
During A-10 regular season play, Josh Scovens ranked fourth in field goal percentage (58.7) across the A-10. The junior scored in double digits in 10 straight conference games from Jan. 10 - Feb. 18.
