DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson College men's soccer team looks to return to the Atlantic 10 postseason for the third straight season, beginning its journey Thursday night at Campbell. First touch is set 7 p.m. at Eakes Athletic Complex in Buies Creek.

This year's roster includes 26 scholar-athletes. The team is comprised of five freshmen, six sophomores, nine juniors and six seniors. The Wildcats will be led by captains Jack Brown, Baylen Young and Alonzo Clarke. Head coach Mike Babst enters his seventh season at the helm for Davidson.

The 'Cats retained 20 players from last season's team, headlined by sophomore Brady McGlone, who was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team last season, and Nico Quanbeck, the top returning scorer from the 2024 campaign. The tandem will be the focal point of the Wildcat midfield, bolstered by returners Young and Mateo Castelini, while adding Virginia transfer Matthew Thissell.

Leading the forwards, sophomores Noah Louzan and Tobe Ibe will look to take a step this year, and both netted goals in Davidson's preseason exhibitions. The Wildcats also added four new forwards through the freshman class; Aiden Boudro (Bay St. Louis, Miss.), JP Ramos Mora (Mexico City, Mexico), Pablo Linzoain (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Nicholas Alvaro Zeballos (Richmond, Va.).

On defense, the Wildcats return their entire back line, led by Clarke, Brown and Ayman Maadir, who collectively played and started in 50 games last season. Goalkeeper Lucas Beltran, who took the brunt of the workload last season, returns to the net for the 'Cats this season.

The Wildcats travel to Fairfax, Va., to take on defending regular season champion George Mason in the A-10 opener on Sept. 12. They head to Elon on Sept. 16 before returning to Alumni Stadium to battle against St. Bonaventure on Sept. 20.

They round out September with a trip to UNC Greensboro on the 23rd and head to defending A-10 champion Dayton on the 27th.

October begins with a home contest against Saint Joseph's (Oct. 4) and a trip to Philadelphia to play La Salle (Oct. 8).
