The win evened the three-game series and set up a rubber game on Saturday between the Wildcats and Hawks, who are both 11-6 in the A-10.
Michael O'Shaughnessy's bases-clearing double jump-started a five-run third inning and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.
Eli Putnam (4 hits), Cider Canon (3 hits), Anthony Torreso and Noah Jouras drove in two runs apiece, as the Wildcats built an 11-6 lead entering the bottom of the ninth. Thanks to a Joey Pagano two-out, three-run home run, the Hawks got within a run before the final out was recorded.
Starter Isaac Fix threw six innings, allowing five hits and three earned runs and striking out two.
