Wildcats to Open 2026 Season Against Bryant

Davidson's 2026 baseball season will commence Friday, Feb. 13, and the Wildcats will open at home against Bryant for the second straight year, head coach Rucker Taylor announced Thursday.

• Davidson is coming off a 27-29 campaign, which included a return to the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.
• The Wildcats will play their first seven games at home and their first 19 in North Carolina.
• The 30-game, 10-weekend A-10 schedule includes home series with Fordham, Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Richmond and Rhode Island and road trips to La Salle, George Mason, Saint Louis, George Washington and VCU.
• Davidson will play at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis for a sixth straight year, when it hosts Lehigh there on Saturday, March 7. The Wildcats are 3-1 there with wins over Wofford (2021), Western Carolina (2023) and Charlotte (2024) and a loss to N.C. State last year. A 2022 game with Appalachian State was canceled due to weather.
• For the third straight year, the A-10 Tournament will be held at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va., with six league teams competing May 20-23 for an NCAA postseason berth.
