- Davidson will begin the final month of the season with a 1 p.m. kickoff at Morehead State Saturday afternoon.
- Still in search of their first league win, the Wildcats enter 1-7 overall and 0-4 in PFL play following a 40-28 setback against San Diego.
- Senior Ivan Hoyt leads the conference in touchdown catches (8) and receiving yards per game (87.9). He also ranks among league leaders in receptions (39 / 3rd), yards per catch (15.8 / 8th) and receptions per game (5.6 / 2nd).
- Against San Diego, Hoyt had his second straight 100-yard game and third in the last four with seven catches for 115 yards and a score.
- 14 of Davidson's 22 touchdowns this season, have come through the air.
- Dating back to 2018, Davidson has a 35-22 PFL mark, while capturing two regular season crowns and making three FCS Playoff appearances.

- Tied 28-28 entering the fourth quarter, the Toreros struck multiple times, including with a 30-yard touchdown pass from Dom Nankil to Cole Monach with 4:44 to play.
- Davidson (1-7, 0-4 PFL), which trailed 28-14 early in the third quarter, responded with consecutive touchdowns from Mason Sheron to even the score for a third time.
- Despite the setback, the Wildcats' Coulter Cleland finished 15-of-21 for 277 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, Ivan Hoyt had his second straight 100-yard game and third in the last four with seven catches for 115 yards and a score.
- Hoyt's league-leading eighth touchdown catch came at the 14:10 mark of the second quarter. Teammate Andrew Frazier added one five minutes later on a 67-yard pass from Cleland.
- In all, Davidson totaled 356 yards, while San Diego (4-4, 2-2 PFL) had 483, including 195 on the ground.
- Defensively, Danzel Chukwuemeka led the 'Cats with nine tackles, including 1.5 for loss.
- Mari Adams and Mason Sheron combined for 254 rushing yards to lead Davidson to a 31-14 Pioneer Football League win over Morehead State on Field 76 Nov. 9, 2024.
- Shortly after a 55-yard Adams' touchdown run, Luke Durkin hooked up with wide receiver Brody Reina on a 28-yard touchdown pass, which was set up by an Amare Hill interception on the Eagles' first play from scrimmage.
- An Adam Zouagui 43-yard field goal as time expired in the first half gave the 'Cats a 17-14 lead at the break.
- Following a botched Morehead State kickoff return to begin the third quarter, the Wildcats extended their lead when Cam'ron Willis' strip sack set up Dixon Hudson's fumble recovery in the end zone
- With the Wildcats leading 24-14 in the fourth quarter, defensive back Sabin McGlaughlin intercepted a pass at his own 3-yard line. That led to a methodical, 17-play, 97-yard scoring drive capped by a Sheron 15-yard scoring run with 56 seconds left. That final march took 10:39 off the clock on a day the Wildcats possessed the ball for more than 42 minutes.
- Adams finished with 129 yards on 23 carries, while Sheron ran 27 times for 123 yards.
