- Davidson will hit the road for the first time in 2026 when it travels to San Diego for a Week 6 matchup with the Toreros.
- The Wildcats, who opened league play last weekend while concluding a five-game homestand, enter 2-3 on the season following a 51-32 setback to the three-time defending PFL champs.
- Despite the setback, senior wide receiver Jacary Lightsey finished with 10 catches and a career-high 170 yards.
- Lightsey leads the league in catches (39), receiving yards (505) and receptions per game (7.8).
- In addition, quarterback Casey Bullock completed 28-of-44 passes for 345 yards and five touchdowns. The Week 4 PFL Offensive Player of the Week became just the fourth player in school history to throw for over 300 yards and have five touchdown passes in the same game.

- Hoyt's league-leading eighth touchdown catch came at the 14:10 mark of the second quarter. Teammate Andrew Frazier added one five minutes later on a 67-yard pass from Cleland.

- Defensively, Danzel Chukwuemeka led the 'Cats with nine tackles, including 1.5 for loss
