DAVIDSON - Trailing by seven points early, the Davidson Wildcats dropped 26 unanswered points on the visiting Stetson Hatters, putting them in the rear-view mirror in a 33-14 win Saturday afternoon at Field 76 and Davidson College Stadium.

The Wildcats totaled 490 offensive yards and improved to 4-6 and 2-4 in the Pioneer Football League, while Stetson fell to 1-9 and 0-6 on the campaign.

Wildcats quarterback Casey Bullock led the way, passing for 357 yards on 23-of-36 passing, and he threw three touchdowns. He also chipped in 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground, equaling running back Brodey Berg for the rushing yards high.

On the receiving end, senior Jacary Lightsey had a monster day, snagging eight catches and gaining 116 yards, including the go-ahead 44-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Alani Ajigbotosho and Tristan Hollins followed him, racking up 69 and 59 yards, respectively. Tanner Waring and tight end Xavier Vela also found the end zone, scoring one touchdown apiece.

Kicker Christos Tzamakos got in on the action as well. His 25-yard field goal early in the second quarter capped Davidson's first scoring drive, a 14-play, 77-yard march. He hit a 26-yard field goal as the first-half clock expired, giving the Wildcats a 13-7 edge at the break.

Stetson quarterback Thomas von Grote put up 338 passing yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing two interceptions to Davidson's Michael Leonard. Receiver Landon Farco caught both passing scores on big plays (63 yards, 54 yards), while gaining 125 yards of his own. Rush yards were hard to come by for Stetson, as Chris Stephenson tallied the most for the Hatters with a mere 16.

Defensively, Wildcat Hudson Altenburg recorded the most tackles with seven, while Jamal Chandler-Fuller had six, and Hayden Meese five. Casey Bending had two sacks.
