Billikens Take Second Game of Series

ST. LOUIS — Saint Louis scored three runs in the first inning and three more in the fourth to defeat Davidson 6-1 Saturday in the second game of the weekend series.
The Wildcats dropped to 14-19 overall and 2-6 in the Atlantic 10, while Saint Louis (24-8) improved to 6-2 in league play.
Davidson's lone run came in the top of the ninth when Noah Jouras singled in Eli Putnam, who had reached on a walk.
Jouras was the only Wildcat with multiple hits, finishing 2-for-4. Putnam, Michael O'Shaughnessy and Nick Calero also had hits.
Starter Cooper Cavanaugh threw 3.2 innings before the bullpen took over.
Tyler Fogarty's two-RBI double in the first gave the Billikens the early lead they never lost.
