Baseball Hosts Wilson World Series this Weekend

The Davidson baseball team will host its annual intrasquad series this weekend, and the Wildcats have also given it a new name — the Wilson World Series.
Coach Rucker Taylor said the program wanted to further honor the Wilson family, whose name has been on the Wildcats' home stadium since 2005.
Wilson Field was named in honor of T. Henry Wilson, Jr. '51, who played baseball and football at Davidson. His wife, Janet Wilson, was a longtime supporter of the program.
The Wilson World Series teams will be "Team T. Henry" and "Team Janet."
The games are set for Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 12 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
