DAVIDSON, N.C. -- After picking up their first win of conference play, the Davidson Wildcats return home to Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon to host the red-hot Richmond Spiders.Game coverage will be available on the Davidson Radio Network in addition to ESPN+ and Bally Sports South.

• Davidson closed out its non-conference season 10-3 overall, winning their last seven games before the start of the Atlantic 10 season.
• Veteran trio Grant Huffman (13.0 ppg), David Skogman (12.5) and Connor Kochera (10.9) lead the Wildcats in scoring this season.
• Also the team's captains, Skogman (.552), Kochera (.504) and Huffman (.486) pace the 'Cats in field goal percentage.
• In Atlantic 10 play, sophomore Reed Bailey is averaging 13.8 points per game and coming off a career high 24-point performance against Fordham.
• Eight of Davidson's games this season have been determined by five points or less. The 'Cats are 4-4 in those games.
RECENTLY WITH RICHMOND
• In their last 10 meetings, Richmond has won seven contests while the 'Cats have captured two of their three victories on the road.
• Prior to last season's meeting, Davidson and Richmond went head-to-head in the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship title game where the Spiders came out on top, 64-62.
• The Wildcats' last win over the Spiders came from inside the Robbins Center after Michael Jones '22 drained a game-winning triple with three seconds on the clock.
ABOUT THE SPIDERS
• Richmond has won its first four conference games for the second time since joining the A-10 in 2001. In 2016-17, the Spiders won their first five conference games en route to a 13-5 A-10 season.
• The Spiders have won seven straight games, their longest single-season win streak since 2011, when the Spiders won nine in a row as they won the A-10 Championship and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Entering this weekend, Richmond's seven straight wins were tied for the eighth-longest active win streak in Division I.
• Jordan King is the reigning A-10 Co-Player of the Week after averaging 23.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 steals while shooting 57 percent from the field and 11-14 from three-point range in Richmond's wins over Loyola and George Mason. King is averaging 18.0 points per game this season, fifth in the A-10.

• Grant Huffman and Reed Bailey each netted a career-high 24 points as Davidson pulled away late to defeat Fordham, 79-69, in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action Wednesday night inside Rose Hill Gymnasium.
• The result marked Davidson's first win of the conference season and first victory since Dec. 30.
• Coming off a 24-point performance Saturday at George Washington, Huffman finished 9-of-16 from the floor to go along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
• In addition to tying a school-record with a 12-for-12 performance from the charity stripe, Bailey grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for his first-ever double-double.
• He's the second player in Davidson history with multiple games going a perfect 11-11 or better from the stripe. The other: Stephen Curry.

• Senior point guard Grant Huffman has been on a tear this season, most notably recording a pair of 24-point performances in his last two outings.
• In that stretch, he's shot 19-of-33 (57.6%) from the floor and 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.
• The Ohio native also runs the Wildcats' offense at an efficient clip, averaging a second-best 4.9 assists per game in the Atlantic 10.
• With 83 total assists (3rd in A-10), Huffman also has a team-best 29 steals, good for fifth best in the league.
