WILDCAT SCRATCHES
- Davidson will play three of its last five regular season contests at home beginning with a 12:30 p.m. tip against Saint Joseph's Saturday.
- Coming off a 78-65 setback at Saint Louis Wednesday night, the Wildcats sit at 11-14 overall and 4-9 in A-10 play.
- Nine of the 'Cats' first 13 conference contests have come against teams predicted to finish in the top-half of the preseason poll, including two games (8 total) each against the Top-4 in the current standings.
- Since joining the A-10 in 2014-15, Davidson has won two regular season titles (2015, 2022), a tournament title (2018), made three NCAA Tournaments (2015, 2018, 2022) and totaled 95 league wins (11.3 per year).
- The Wildcats have recorded an average finish of 4.0 in the 15-team conference and made the A-10 semifinals each year.
- Foster Loyer, who has scored 844 of his 1,071 career points at Davidson, ranks among league leaders in scoring (15.6/8th), 3-pointers made (51/9th), free-throw percentage (.918/1st), 3-pointers per game (2.2/11th), assists per game (4.6/4th) and steals per game (1.7/6th).
- Loyer has made 47 of his last 48 free throws, with his only miss being intentional in the closing seconds against Fordham last weekend. He set the school record for consecutive makes last season with 46.

- Loyer and teammate David Skogman (.864) rank 1-4 in the league in free-throw percentage.
- The Wildcats are 7-3 on the season when making at least eight 3-pointers in a contest.
- 11 of Davidson's contests this season have been decided by five or fewer points, including five in league play. The Wildcats won the first three, but have dropped eight straight decided by that margin.
- Despite four players in double figures, including 17 points from Sam Mennenga, Davidson fell at Saint Louis, 78-65, Wednesday evening inside Chaifetz Arena.
- Desmond Watson added 13 points, while David Skogman and Grant Huffman scored 12 and 10, respectively for Davidson, which finished the night shooting just 36.7 percent.
- Davidson started the second half fast, eight consecutive points highlighted by back-to-back treys from Watson to cut the deficit to 39-38. The Billikens answered with a run of their own to push the margin back to double digits.
- Trailing 54-43, the Wildcats slowly chipped away eventually making it a one-possession game, 59-57, on Huffman's third 3-pointer of the night with 6:45 to play. Once again, Saint Louis responded, to all but put the game out of reach.
- The Billikens were led by Gibson Jimerson, who scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-20 shooting, including six of his club's nine 3-pointers. His backcourt mate Yuri Collins recorded 11 points and 11 assists.
- After slow starts by both teams offensively, Saint Louis broke open a one-point contest with a 14-3 run capped by four straight 3-pointers, including three from Gibson Jimerson.
- The Billikens made eight of their last nine field goals to close the opening period, while taking a 39-30 lead into the half.
- Davidson will conclude its brief homestand Wednesday when St. Bonaventure visits Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. tip.
